Wedding Day
Friday 9/6/19 | Schedule of Events
5:30 p.m. - Our ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the courtyard at The Barn. 6:00-7:00 p.m. - Cocktail hour, snacks, bags, and merriment will immediately follow the ceremony in the courtyard at The Barn. The Barn's indoor reception area will also be open following the ceremony. 6:30-8:30 p.m. - Dinner will be served buffet-style inside The Barn (see our FAQs for menu details). Seating at our wedding will be informal and unassigned - eat where and when you want, inside or out! We will close the courtyard at 8:30 p.m. and head inside for cake, toasts, and dancing. 8:30-11:15 p.m. - Drinks and dancing! *While we love your little ones, please note that, with the exception of our wedding party, our day will be an adults-only affair.

The attire is cocktail and garden casual. This is certainly no black tie affair! Our ceremony will be outside, as well as cocktail hour (weather permitting). Ladies, be cautious with your shoe choices! Outdoor space is gravel, indoor space is a rustic wood floor. We would recommend your favorite wedge or sandal - steer clear of stiletto's.
After Party

After the party is the after party! Last call at The Barn will be 11:15pm, then we will take the party over to Emil’s Tavern on Center in Grayslake. Pizza and snacks will be provided. Uber credits will be provided to our guests joining us at Emil’s. Let’s travel safely!
Arlington Park

Don’t want the fun to end? Us either! We have reserved picnic tables at the Arlington Race Track on Saturday, 9/7/19 at 12 p.m., races start at 1:25 p.m.. Kids, families, and friends welcome! *Admissions fees to enter the park apply, see FAQs for more info
