Chicago is known for steakhouses, and this is my favorite. Make a reservation far in advance, but this experience will be worth it. Fun thing about Bavettes: it is a Wine BYOB where the corking fee is that you share a small glass of your bottle with another patron at the restaurant!
THE Chicago spot for hotdogs, italian beef, and crinkle cut fries. Don't miss their chocolate cake! It's one of the best things on their menu.
One of the coolest, most unique eateries in Chicago. Located inside Restoration Hardware, the food is delicious and the ambiance is spectacular. Open for brunch and dinner. Be aware it is popular and no reservations - if you show up 15 min before it opens, you can be one of the first in line! If not, put your name in and furniture browse!
Upscale mexican food with the best homemade chorizo in the city. If you're a cocktail person, this Randolph Street spot is amazing and is next door to Lone Wolf, Bad Hunter, and Au Cheval.
Amazing cocktail bar with a warm, romantic vibe. Small food menu but this spot is a date night favorite with my favorite burger in the city!
For the adventurous eaters - this is my favorite Ramen shop in Chicago. After you're full, explore Chinatown! Strings also has a second location in Lakeview.
This Mediterranean spot is packed with flavor. Can't recommend enough!
A vegetarian and vegan restaurant that even a carnivore would crave. Nate and I have eaten many items on this menu, unreal delicious! Chiacgo Diner's original location is in Lakeview.
