Fontana Village and Resort has on-site cabins, a hotel, and a campground. The cabins allow pets, the hotel does not allow pets. If you want to stay in a cabin, we recommend trying to stay near the Laurel Brook Fire Pit, this is where Friday night dinner and Sunday morning breakfast will take place.
In order to receive the lodging discount, and to ensure lodging availability, please make a reservation over the phone by 3/15/24. Mention you are with the Penick/Patterson wedding to receive the discounted rate. Also, the discounted rate lasts for your entire stay. So if you arrive early or stay late, the discount will apply.
It is about a 15 min walk from the hotel to the Laurel Brook Fire pit and 5 min walk from the hotel to the Events Hall for the Reception. All events are walkable except for the Wedding Ceremony which will require a car.
The wedding ceremony, the Friday night welcome dinner, and Sunday breakfast will be outside, so please be prepared for all types of weather. The wedding reception will be inside. There is also a lazy river and a pool, so bring swimming attire if you wish.
Meals will be provided for Friday night dinner, Saturday night dinner, and Sunday breakfast. Guests will be responsible for providing their own meals for Saturday breakfast and Saturday lunch. There are two restaurants on site, Mountview Bistro and Wildwood grill. There is an Ingles grocery store in Robbinsville, about 35 minutes away. There is also an Ingles in Bryson City that you will be a quick detour if you are coming from Asheville. We recommend doing any grocery shopping prior to arriving at Fontana Village Resort.
There are boat and paddle board rentals at the marina, mountain biking and hiking in Fontana Village and at nearby Tsali Recreation area, mini golf, UTV rentals, full disc golf course, shuffle board, volleyball, and pool with lazy river.
