Sister of the Bride; Frequent communication has been the key to this sisterly dynamic. Since the time they could both talk Amanda & Katie have found unique ways to share their sisterly dreams, woes, gossip and triumphs. In pre-cellphone days they used beepers, walkie-talkies, late night whispers, & even intercoms. As adults they moved on to weekly sometimes daily chats, hidden notes, FaceTime and emojis! Although they ditched the bunk beds, Zack & Slater dolls, and teacher sets for separate homes, wine and iPhones the old themes still apply as Amanda is a technology education coordinator in a school. And, A&K still perform variations of the "5 second clean Up", host Sister/Sister Days complete with item swaps & trash tv and plan family adventures to Lake George & Sesame Place. Slove ya!
Tina DeAngelis
Maid of Honor
Best Friend of the Bride, Katie met Tina at Manhattan College in Spanish class and they became fast friends at a movie outing sponsored by the school. Their friendship grew over the self proclaimed "Fridays in the City" with adventures to Harlem, Brooklyn and beyond. After college the fast-talking picture loving duo celebrated their friendship over weekly phone calls during long commutes, tea dates, and travel including an epic roadtrip through Arizona including Grand Canyon sunrise and sleeping in a teepee! Tina is the cheerleader of eternal optimism! Katie says: ¡No podemos hablar español muy bueno pero todavía somos amigos!
Christina Maher
Best Woman
Youngest Sister of the Groom. Her big brother is extremely proud of her and couldn't think of anyone better to be his best person. First off, she's very smart. She graduated from Steven's Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ, which means she is MUCH better at math than her brother is. Second, she's strong and confident. Even now, after working at her first job out of college for just three years, she already has her own team to supervise! Third, she's always been an important part of her brother's life, from feeding and reading to her when she was a baby, to playing basketball together (Dan may or may not have let her win,) to playing with her stuffed animals, to serious competitions at mini-golf. Fun fact: she says Grace in under 3.5 seconds.

Sister of the Groom. She is a PACU nurse. She got married herself in October of 2019 and now lives in North Carolina. She is the original Sally Snowflake and once fed a bag of Reese's peanut butter cups to our dog Ben. She likes softball and basketball. Her favorite Yankee is Derek Jeter.

Flower Girl
Niece of the bride and Sesame Street aficionado. (We might have better luck getting her to carry Big Bird down the aisle rather than flowers.) She refers to the bride and groom as "Aunt KK and Uncle DD"! Though our Silly Lilly has only been in our lives a few years she's already brightening it up with nose boops, cooking lessons, dance parties, humming, art projects, and endless curiosity! She is an avid hide-n-seeker, expert Facetimer, loves swimming and finding bugs or birds! She's always eager to help out and is already a great big sister to her baby brother! Uggga Mugga! Love you Spud!

♫♫Duuh Duuh da da da Duuh Duuh da da da Duuh Duuh dun-dun-dun-duuuuh...♫♫ A long time ago in a Galaxy close close by... Katie was enjoying life as a quiet youngest child when suddenly she became a middle child. True story Katie & Joe are 4 years apart but have so similar DNA that they made it into a medical journal. The two have many nicknames for each other including "Twin" but embrace their newest titles of Auntasaurus KK & Funcle Joe while babysitting. They enjoy nerding out over Batman, Ghostbusters, Star Wars & Broadway shows! Joe spends his time as a volunteer firefighter, volunteer EMT AND a medical assistant! Dan met Joey in 2009 at a family pizza night. They enjoy talking about comics and movies. Dan even recently began teaching Joe how to play Irish music on a tin whistle!
Jon Duverger

Jon met Katie and Dan at Manhattan College at a legendary dorm party. His bright smile and infectious warmth led to many long nights laughing and singing songs across campus including when Jon suited up in black and gold to go to the Jasper Jingle, Manhattan's annual christmas party. Dan and Jon's Bromance was solidified on an epic cruise to Jamaica. Jon works for an electrical company but is most passionate about music. Jon kills it as a bassist and vocalist for the metal band Our Fears and does sound engineering on the side. Dan, also a metalhead, always looks forward to talking about his new music, but his favorite will always be "Garden State Romance"!!
John Burns

Brother in Law of the Bride, Daddy to the cutest flower girl! John is a Technology engineer for Trinity School in Manhattan. Katie met John early on in his relationship to Katie's sister Amanda. Katie was protective but John passed the tests and has become the best Brother-in-law by never interrupting girls' nights, introducing new Smart technology into Katie's life and co-hosting game nights and family vacations! The two have bonded over rock music, a love of BBQ chips and Yankees. Dan met John in 2009 and then volunteered to act as a videographer for his and Amanda's wedding! They share a joy of international sports, yelling at their favorite teams on tv and metal music! Dan says "Lets Go Mets"! John will now probably wear his Yankee jersery to the wedding!
Beatrix-Maria Bulson
Mother of the Bride
Maria aka Trixy, Her claim to fame aside from her freaky mom intuition (more on that in a bit) is her ability to whip up any dish! From American staples to hearty German meals to Chinese and Mexican this career mom can do it all! In her spare time she crochets, bakes, sews and reads Outlander! She's also the reason Katie loves digging around in fresh dirt to cultivate the perfect vegetable garden and listening to Celtic music. Maria started the family tradition of writing inspirational notes in lunch boxes and Katie describes her as the epitome of unconditional positive regard! Lastly, this mom "called it" when she met the groom, Dan, for the first time in 2009 noting: "He's handsome, smart; I like him you should marry him". We were only friends then but as always Mom knows best!
Marie Maher
Mother of the Groom
Marie has always been a prime example of the best a mother can be. She always gives her all for her children, even to the point of staying up to 2 am doing math problems on napkins at the kitchen table. Ever the educator, she taught all of her children to love learning, especially spelling, which is why they always beat her at Scribbage. She's an expert surgeon (for stuffed animals that is). She loves figure skating. She makes the best banana bread, with or without chocolate chips. She loves her Christmas Village, which Dan helps her put up each year. Ask Mom about the time she couldn't wait for St. Patrick's Day. She loves telling that story. Dan never lets her forget it!
Carl Bulson
Father of the Bride
Carl is a retired Stony Point town employee who loves being a Poppy & lifetime member of Wayne Hose Fire Department. Growing up to the bride he was her "Daddy-Waddy", a compassionate hard-working dad who knew how to elevate any school project (he once made a working lighthouse replica), how to make the best Sunday breakfast (I"ll have the Carl's Special: the 2x2x2!), and how to talk to any cat, dog, turtle or deer! He taught Katie to love the Yankees, about the importance of family-time through Lake George trips, and about patience through extending his own time and time again! He can fix anything, can build anything, and always has time for a check-in call. Oh he's also known as the "Limbo King" Don't believe us? Watch him on the dance floor!
James Maher
Father of the Groom
Also the officiant of the ceremony. Aka Deacon Jim. Aka Dad. If you're not sure where to go, he'll point. Trust us! And you'll know when he's mad because you'll get the blinking face! Nobody is better at taking naps anytime anywhere. Dad is a QVC aficionado and loves surprising his family with things we never knew we needed until they show up at home. He's also got a library of old movies on the DVR, most of which he's already seen about 10 times. He's great at pointing out all the piles of things Mom makes. Dad invented triple-decker PB&J sandwiches and is a certified human alarm clock. He led Cub Scouts and coached Little League. Dad runs the St. Vincent De Paul Society at St. Aedan's. He makes decisions on buying new cars faster than anyone and he's a great dad!
