She said yes!!!

Back in 2014 Allison began working at Peterbilt, where Greg had been working. They had worked together and became friends. They would go out after work with their friend Eric to Sheetz and eat and talk for hours. They would always laugh and have a good time together! It was the beginning of a great friendship.

Then in 2015 Allison moved out of state, a year went by and she moved back in 2016. In 2017 Greg had texted Allison and they started talking again. April 7th of 2017 Greg had asked Allison on their first date, they went to hibachi for dinner. Then they met up with Greg’s brother Kevin and his girlfriend Sam to go bowling! That evening Greg had asked Allison to be his girlfriend, she said of course!

They took a vacation with Allison’s family down in Florida in February of 2018 aaaannnddd a few weeks later they found out they were going to be parents (it was ‘planned’ it was and it wasn’t)! They bought a house and moved in June 2018. A few months later in November their little girl, Nova, was born!

That Saturday Nova was spending the weekend at her grandparents house, so Greg and Allison went out and had a nice breakfast, did some errands and Greg made the suggestion to go to Muddy Run. They were going to look for a nice picnic area to spend a day with their friends during the Summer. They started hiking up until they found a nice area overlooking the water, they saw 5 bald eagles (which was a beautiful sight) flying overhead. They stood looking at the water for awhile and Allison asked Greg “youre not going to just leave me here, are you? My phone is in the car.” So they laughed and joked around for a little bit about it. Greg took Allison’s hands and said sweet mushy gushy stuff (or as he says “you know all that sap stuff.”), and got down on one knee. Her instant reaction was “Are you joking? Seriously??” (Greg is a huge jokester, one of the many reasons why we love him) She instanly started crying and of course said yes! (Gregs eyes were watering, don’t let him tell you differently!) She couldn’t stop hugging him and looking at her beautiful ring the entire walk back!

Greg and Allison are so very excited for their wedding! They picked the 21st of August for two reasons, Greg came up the idea for using August because with using their birthday months (including Nova) which are September, October, and November. August is right in line with those months so it’s easy to remember! The 21st Allison decided because she added all three of their birth dates, and divided the total by 3 (for the 3 of them) and it came out to 21! They cannot wait for their big day, and cannot wait to share it with you!
