There are many venues and AirBNBs in the area.  If you're flying in, you might want to check out both Detroit Metro Airport and Chicago O'Hare airport.  O'Hare is slightly closer to the west side of the state.

There is also the Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids airport and the South Bend International Airport in South Bend, IN. 


www.swmichigan.org is a great resource for hotels and lodging.  Most places are going to be about 25-30 minutes away.
