Rowley Country Club

Rowley Country Club is a scenic 9-hole golf course located in Rowley, MA (a 20 minute drive from the Boston Marriott Peabody). Rowley Country Club is both open to the public and offers annual membership. This par 35 golf course, which is widely considered one of the best 9-hole layouts on the North Shore offering both a beautiful and natural setting as well as a fair but challenging test for golfers of all ages and abilities. NOTE: You must book your tee time at least 1 week in advance.

Crane Wildlife Refuge

For those of you looking to explore nature, the Crane Wildlife Refuge (a 25 min drive from the Boston Marriott Peabody) is a patchwork of coastal and island habitats. Wander 3.5 miles of gravel roads and mown foot trails that lead from the dock to the landmark barn on Long Island, past the 250-year-old Choate House, and up to the Crane burial site at the top of Choate Island. Choate Island Hikes are offered occasionally, late May through October. Due to high demand, advance admission passes to our most popular properties are either required or strongly encouraged.
