The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00 p.m.
Only if your invitation is addressed to you and your guest - then we have reserved an extra seat for your plus one! Another way to find out if you have a plus one is when you RVSP, it will ask if you OR you and your guest will be attending!
Children are only invited if named. We hope you understand and enjoy your night off!
We recommend our guests to stay at the Kansas City Airport Marriott under our “Buckner-Griffin Wedding Room Block”. The last day to book under our room block is April 12. The address is 775 Brasilia Ave, Kansas City, MO 64153 Here is the link to book: https://www.marriott.com/event-reservations/reservation-link.mi?id=1643415311515&key=GRP&app=resvlink There will be a 25- person shuttle to take guests to the venue and back to your hotel. Although, the shuttle only holds 25 people and we have a lot of guests flying in, so it wouldn’t be a bad idea to rent a vehicle. That way you can also explore downtown KC all weekend!
There is plenty of parking at the venue but if you plan on drinking please use a ride share service to get to the venue. There will be shuttles provided to take our guests to the venue and back to the Marriott at the Kansas City Airport location after the reception. Note specifically to the wedding party: The wedding party will be staying at the house on the venue property, so no transportation will be needed for you.
We would like our guests to dress up in business attire. I would say examples could be: Men could wear slacks and a button up (ties optional). Women could wear a cocktail dress/maxi dress and heels. Jeans would not be appropriate.
Matt and Lindsey’s dream would go to an amazing honeymoon together after their wedding. The best gift they could ask for is money to put towards their honeymoon fund! Thank you for being so kind to celebrate this special time with us!
There will be a 25-seater shuttle provided for guests to be taken to and from the venue on the night of the wedding. Although, we have a lot of guests flying in so it wouldn’t be a bad idea to get a rental for the weekend! That way, you can also explore downtown Kansas City! Another note: Getting access to an Uber or a Lyft is extremely difficult in Weston (where our venue is).
It is extremely hard to get access to an Uber or a Lyft in Weston, Missouri. It is a bit in the country. So I would recommend to either rent a car or let me know if you are interested in taking the provided 25-seater shuttle.
