Rock & Roll Hall of Fame
If you are a music fan, this is a must do on your trip to Cleveland! From the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper outfits to Michael Jackson's Grammy for Thriller to Elvis' motorcycle, the Rock Hall has artifacts and memorabilia from all of the musical greats.
The Cleveland Museum of Art
The Cleveland Museum of Art is ranked as one of the top 10 art museums in the country! Here you can see works from Monet, Van Gogh, Picasso, Dali, and so many more. The best part? According to the museum's charter it is "for the benefit of all the people forever." This means that it is always FREE to enter!
A Christmas Story House
You'll shoot your eye out! Did you know that the classic Christmas movie "A Christmas Story" was filmed right here in Cleveland? This house is where filming took place and is filled with props, costumes and other memorabilia from the movie. You can even take home your own Leg Lamp from the gift shop!
Cuyahoga Valley National Park
One of the National Parks is right here in Cleveland's backyard! The Cuyahoga Valley National Park is home to multiple hiking trails, campsites, a railroad, and part of the Erie Canal. We love going here for hikes!
West Side Market
Come hungry! The West Side Market is over a century old and is a culinary experience! Here you can find produce, dairy, and meat vendors along with prepared foods, baked goods, and lots of cultural and ethnic cuisine. If you stay for lunch at the attached diner we recommend the Pierogi Melt!
Great Lakes Brewing Company
Great Lakes brewing is the oldest craft brewery in Ohio and one of the oldest in the country! Located right across the street from the West Side Market is their brewing facility, restaurant, and bar. We love doing the behind the scenes brewing tour and eat in the brew pub any chance we get. Lauren's favorite beer is the Edmund Fitzgerald Porter and Dan loves the Elliot Ness Amber Lager, but you can't go wrong with any of their beers!
The Flats
If you're looking for Cleveland nightlife this is the place! The Flats is home to multiple restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. Our favorite is Goodnight John Boy's...a 70's themed nightclub where the music can't be beat!
East 4th Street
Looking for nightlife walking distance from the hotel block and wedding venue? East 4th Street is your spot! We love coming here for the breweries, restaurants, and bars. During the daytime check out the Arcade, one of the oldest shopping malls in the country.
