Back in summer of 2015, we were both new graduates. Lauren got a job with AmeriCorps Tennessee while applying to medical school and Dan got a job in Knoxville, TN. We both decided to move in with family--Lauren with her parents who had moved to Knoxville while she was an undergraduate at the University of Florida and Dan with his aunt and uncle who had been in Knoxville for most of their lives. Lauren's parents and Dan's aunt and uncle just happened to be next door neighbors and friends! They figured that we were both new to the area and would be looking to meet people so they set us up with tickets to a University of Tennessee football game....and the rest is history. Our relationship has gone many places since then; from long-distance between Tampa, FL and Cleveland, OH to being reunited in Tampa to now being together in Cleveland. But we can always credit good old Rocky Top with being where we fell in love!
