Elizabeth and Buck’s story began in the most ordinary of places: the office. To Elizabeth, Buck was initially just the quiet co-worker who sped-walked past her office each day. Working in HR, Elizabeth made a point to take daily laps around the office, checking in and saying hello to everyone she walked past, including Buck. Those quick hellos slowly turned into longer conversations, and their office friendship started to become something more. Knowing the unspoken rule that no one asks out HR, Elizabeth took the leap and asked Buck out herself. From their very first date, it was clear they were a perfect match. Their quirky humor clicked instantly, and Buck must have had a feeling this was something special, because the night ended with him introducing Elizabeth to friends who will stand beside him as groomsmen. In true Buck fashion, the proposal was planned down to the very last detail. During a getaway to the Omni Grove Park Inn & Spa in Asheville, he surprised Elizabeth at a waterfall patio with a hidden photographer and the ring she still cannot stop admiring. What started as office small talk has grown into a life full of love, laughter, and plenty of dog hair from their two labs, Lewis and Hudson. Now, they are getting married and cannot wait to share this special day with the people they love most.
