Semi-formal or dressy casual is recommended but we aren’t strict about this. Wear comfortable shoes for the uneven terrain :)
Due to the location and us trying to keep the wedding small, please let us know in advance if you are interested in bringing a plus one.
There is some parking available but we recommend carpooling if possible. Make sure the car that you are driving can handle some terrain as you will be parking in low grass and gravel.
Our pre-party will be a semi-public event on Saturday, June 7th. It is a dance social, but non-dancers are welcome to come mingle, watch, and maybe give a try at bachata dancing :) We may do a casual brunch in Fort Collins the following day.
We plan to proceed with the outdoor ceremony rain or shine! We will provide some sunscreen and bug spray, but recommend that you keep an umbrella or parasol in your car just in case. We will go indoors for the ceremony if there is concern for thunder, but space is limited and it will be a packed standing room only. The reception will be both outdoors and in covered areas (garage and barn).
Instead of a formal sit-down dinner, we will be having a food truck style meal. Snacks and drinks will be provided. There will not be a bartender but we will have liquor options available for you.
It can be windy so be prepared for your hairdo to not be perfect the whole time :)
It is an option to bring your kids. Please let us know so we can make sure to include them in our head count. Because we are in the mountains and in nature you will need to make sure to monitor your kids carefully (we do get the occasional rattlesnakes in the area). There will be a couple lawn games for adults and kids alike, but you may need to bring some of your own entertainment for the kiddos as well. Please do not have your kids approach the dogs without asking/supervision as we want to avoid any injuries.
