A favorite of both families. Hike up the hill (mildly strenuous) and back down to the beach (nice and easy) Bryan tried to propose here, but it was closed due to Covid. He made an impromptu proposal at the nearby River Path Del Mar.
Paragliding off the cliff and over the ocean. Al and Sean have both taken a thrilling ride. Great place for the ocean view or to watch others flying up and down the coast.
Trails, museums, and gardens to explore. The San Diego Zoo is world famous. Shannon's favorite is the Japanese Friendship Garden, but the Desert Garden and Rose Garden don't require tickets and are also beautiful.
