Complimentary parking is available at Harbor View Loft - park in the LAZ lot on either side of the venue. You will have to insert a credit card at the gate as a placeholder, and the venue will provide validation so your card is not charged. Cars can be left overnight until noon if needed.
The ceremony will be outdoors on the lawn, and the patio will be open during cocktail hour. The rest of the reception will be indoors.
San Diego County has lifted restrictions for most gatherings related to Covid-19. Many local businesses were requiring proof of vaccination to enter, but that should no longer be the case. If you are vaccinated, we recommend having a copy of your vaccination card handy just in case. All forms of mass-transit do require masks - make sure you have one for any flights, Lyft/Uber rides, etc. Masks will not be required at the reception, but we ask that you are considerate of other with social distancing when possible, and ask that you do wear a mask if you are not vaccinated.
There are 2 hotel room blocks (details found on the Travel page). The Hilton is right next door to the wedding venue and very close to the airport with shuttle service - it's a great option if you are in town for just a quick trip. The Hyatt is more of a vacation-style resort with beach access and restaurants on-site - great for making a vacation out of your trip! The bride's family is renting a house in La Jolla and the groom's family is renting one in the Mission Bay area. There are lots of AirBNB options all over the San Diego area. If you are looking to stay somewhere more central to exploring San Diego, anything downtown near the Marina District, Little Italy, or Gas Lamp would have a lot of hotel options and lots of restaurants, bars, and shops in walking distance. Hillcrest near Balboa Park also has a lot to explore. Mission Beach or La Jolla are great beach areas with lots to explore. Further north, Del Mar or Carmel Valley have nice shopping/eating with hiking spots nearby.
