A few years ago, Briana and Kyle were seriously focused on their university studies - biochemistry and neuroscience both required a full-time, committed relationship. Unfortunately, this left the pair with very little time to "get out there" and meet eligible bachelors and bachelorettes. Instead, both Briana and Kyle (who are fairly tech-savvy) decided to attempt the new way of dating: online. They went into their iPhone app store and downloaded all the most promising dating apps. "Maybe I'll at least get a few free dinners out of this" thought Briana, meanwhile, Kyle thought "I hope they look like their profile pictures in real life." Many nights were spent rummaging through the thousands of profiles and cheesy pick-up lines. No, no, no, definitely not; until by a twist of fate, they both happened to like the profile picture and description enough to "swipe right" and began chatting online and eventually exchanged numbers. Briana, somewhat begrudgingly, agreed to meet up for a study date in their local university student center and almost chickened out at the last minute. Fortunately, she followed through with the plans and she (somewhat awkwardly) met Kyle in person. Their eyes met as she walked up the stairs- sort of, they were both busy staring at the profile picture on their phones trying to figure out who they were supposed to be meeting. The night went surprisingly well (although not much studying got done) and a second date was set up. Now, several dates, and even across states, Kyle popped the question and Briana couldn't be any more excited for the B.S.!

In December 2018, Kyle went a little crazy trying to find the perfect Christmas tree. After attempting to find a tree farm, only to realize that a tree wouldn't fit on either of their cars, he ultimately settled for a nice, pre-lit, fake tree. Now Briana and Kyle both LOVE Christmas, and decorating the Christmas tree while eating cookies and watching classic movies is one of their favorite things to do. That afternoon, they made homemade hot chocolate, ate Christmas cookies, and listened to Christmas carols while decorating their new tree. Kyle became quite agitated and kept insisting on alcohol - "why don't we have more wine? We need a lot of wine!" was a popular phrase of the evening. After about half of the tree was decorated, Briana reached to unwrap the next ornament and instead found a petite, black box. She started to turn around while opening it, asking "Kyle...?" only to hear him say "Oh, you found it!" and to see him down on one knee. No wine was found (surprisingly), but they added some Cinnamon Baileys to their hot cocoa and danced around the kitchen while celebrating. Now, they can't wait to dance (and they promise to have wine this time!) with you!
