Thunderhead Hiking Trail
Hike on the ski mountain up to Thunderhead lodge. It is a difficult hike due to elevation gain, but great to do any segment of it!
Fish Creek Falls
Another great hike neat Steamboat. Has significant elevation gain.
Yampa River
Walking along the Yampa is one of the best activities! There is a path that runs alongside the river that is great for walking, running or biking. You can also float or tube down the Yampa (linked information for that)! And Rick Naylor uses the Yampa as a great spot for cold plunging year round!
Old Town Hot Springs
Recreation Center with day passes for gym access and hot springs right in town.
