Lauren Johnson
Co - Maid of Honor
Lauren and Brynn met in Portland working on the same team at Adidas, but became closest during Covid. Brynn had an outside patio, which Lauren, her now-husband (and our officiant!) Matt would come over for our now beloved "Quarantine Patio Rose Squad" evenings. Brynn has slowly but surely forced hugs on Lauren, and they have grown together throughout their personal lives and careers. Lauren and Brynn have a mutual love of driving to the coast for the world's best fish and chips, candles, 90 Day Fiance, and singing/screaming the Hamilton soundtrack among many other things. Lauren is also the person who got Robbie and Brynn together! She does, however, deny this as it contributed to Brynn moving to Seattle with Robbie. Sorry Lauren! See you for chips and queso soon.
Trevor Johnson
Best Man
Trevor and Robbie first met in Physics class during their freshman year of high school. Despite having spent a majority of their Lacrosse careers' to that point as competitors, they quickly bonded over their shared love of sports, both watching and playing. A shared love which has led to them cheering both for and against each other in championships and regular season matchups alike (O-H!). Trevor and Robbie maintained a close friendship through college while attending and playing Lacrosse in Connecticut and Ohio. Trevor was one of the first to know that Brynn and Robbie were together and has been nothing but supportive since then, even if it means the number of Ohio State supporters has gone up by one.
Jennifer Marchant
Co-Maid of Honor
Jenn and Brynn met their freshman year at the University of Wisconsin (go Badgers!) living on the same dormitory floor. Jenn and Brynn continued to live together throughout college, and both lived in LA after college, going through an array of experiences including bungee jumping and navigating adulthood together. They have traveled around the world together (notably cliff jumping and boat adventuring in the Philippines and RV camping in Ireland). While Jenn lives in Chicago, Brynn, Robbie & Jenn make an effort to see each other multiple times a year. Jenn met Robbie shortly after Brynn and Robbie started dating, and they became fast friends. Jenn is the unofficial roommate at our apartment and currently Jenn and Robbie have outweighed Brynn on the breed of dog to get.
Atabey Hunt
Groom's Party
Atabey (At-abey) is Robbie's younger sister. While their interests may not always align (there is only so much sports talk a girl can take) their shared interest in arts and video games provides seemingly endless topics of conversation. When Robbie first introduced Brynn to Atabey the connection between them, through a shared interest in film and theater, was instantaneous. When she is not away attending school at Western Washington University, Atabey, Brynn, and Robbie find themselves discussing the current goings on in TV, playing Mario Party, and discussing the intricacies of just what it means to be a "yapper". Robbie could not be happier to have his sister joining Brynn and him to celebrate their special day.
Jessica Clark
Bride's Party
Jessica and Brynn went to high school together in Minnesota, though it wasn't until their senior year of school they got close. Working together at American Eagle at the Mall of America as the gabby fitting room gals the summer heading into college, Jessica and Brynn became best friends. They both lived in California in their early 20s and have stayed close for all stages of life since. Jessica & her husband Casey and Brynn have spent many New Year's Eves together, and love spending time together discussing music, the latest best TV and also the best garbage television. While Brynn has spent over six years trying to win the heart of their cat named Kitty, Robbie gained Kitty's love and affection the first time they met. Jessica and Casey are family to Brynn and Robbie, and we enjoy every second we get with them. Shout out Jaren Squad/Centro's Favorite Table!
Zack Halsey
Groom's Party
Zack and Robbie first met during freshman orientation and bonded over their shared fandom of Ohio State. While they shared a lot of time pushing each other on the lacrosse field, their friendship continued to grow as they both discovered, and honed, their skills in the ceramics classroom. However while Zack managed to perfect his skills in the creation of more functional pieces, Robbie often found himself making more abstract pieces. Whether or not Robbie's pieces were intentionally abstract or not remains a question that has yet to be answered. Brynn and Zack bonded over their shared enjoyment of being plant parents often times sharing tips and tricks to keep their plants happy and healthy. Brynn and Robbie also find themselves benefiting from Zack's horticulture skills when he brings them fresh fruits and vegetables from his garden. A gift that is quickly utilized in the next meal that the two of them prepare together.
Emma Davis
Bride's Party
Emma and Brynn met at their freshman year of high school in their homeroom class and through soccer. They became fast friends and navigated teenage years together with every cringe-worthy moment between proms and first ever interactions with boys. They have remained best friends for over almost 20 years - sleepovers reading Twilight together, Starbucks hangouts with milk chocolate grahams & chais, to navigating work, relationships, and children (she's an amazing mother to 3!). Emma is also the holder of any/every cringe-worthy teen photos, which she is more than happy to share. Emma & her husband Christian met Robbie early on - we love spending time with their family and have a favorited album of photos of their amazing three children.
Johnny Seabright

Johnny and Robbie first met in high school after Johnny returned from living abroad in Amsterdam. The two of them connected over their shared enjoyment for traveling abroad, spending time in the outdoors, and skiing. When Johnny is not hanging out with Jane Goodall he can be found climbing mountains and immersing himself in the culture of different countries. Brynn and Johnny connected over their shared enjoyment of literature and would swap notes and recommendations about authors and books that they are currently reading. We are very excited to have Johnny join us in celebrating the start of our next life adventure together and we cannot wait to hear about all of the adventures he has gotten himself up to.
Piper Titus
Bride's Party
Piper and Brynn met through work at Brooks Running in Seattle. Brynn immediately knew she wanted to befriend Piper - and after successfully making Piper laugh in a meeting, Brynn asked the scary question as an adult to be friends. They met after work for a happy hour, and ended up spending over 3 hours together connecting - immediately changing the work dynamic to best friends (still trying to figure out how to be professionals at work together). Robbie and Piper have a shared knack of roasting Brynn, which they're not wrong (i.e. clumsiness = surgery). Piper is Brynn's closest friend in Seattle and has helped make Seattle feel like home!
Everett Pearson
Groom's Party
Everett and Robbie met during music class their freshman year of high school and connected over their shared enjoyment of the music making processes. While Robbie decided it was probably better for him to be a consumer rather than a creator of music, Everett has continued to follow his passion and is still making music in Los Angeles. When Brynn first met Everett she tried to not overly fan-girl as she had been a fan of his music. The two of them found that they also have similar tastes in the types of music that they enjoy and found a connection through that. Brynn and Robbie are very excited to have Everett take part in their wedding, and while there may not be a live performance a chance to hear some of the new material he is working on is always a treat.
Matthew Johnson
Officiant
Matt met Robbie when Robbie was 14, as he became best friends with Trevor (Best Man!). As the older brother to Trevor, Matt watched Robbie grow into the man he is today. Once Lauren and Brynn became best friends, Matt was a part of the "Quarantine Patio Squad" during Covid. Matt, Lauren, Brynn and Robbie are very close, and while we live apart the group prioritizes trips to see each other, whether that be the Hood Canal, Portland, Seattle, or a skiing location. Matt was a huge part of facilitating Brynn and Robbie to change from friends to dating. Matt has known Robbie and Brynn individually, and together as a couple, and we cannot imagine anyone else to officiate our wedding!
