Question

Where do I park for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The 1908 Grand has provided us with this lovely parking map above. Street parking is always an option if the lots are full. Please read any signs around your parking spot to double check that you're following the street parking guidelines.

Question

What hotel should I book?

Answer

We have discounted room blocks at two hotels in downtown Gainesville! Please refer to the Travel section of the website for more information on these.

Question

Can I walk to the event?

Answer

If you're staying at one of the hotels that we have reserved blocks with, it will be approximately an 8 minute walk to the venue. Just go north on Main Street until you see the 1908 Grand!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your kids, this is an adult only event! (Exceptions can be made for nursing infants, just give us a heads up!)

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please refer to the RSVP section of our website at the top right.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by December 8th, 2024.

Question

Can I bring my own alcohol to the reception?

Answer

You cannot bring your own alcohol to the venue. However, alcohol will be provided during the cocktail hour and reception.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and guest" then yes. If your invitation does not, then we are only able to accommodate those who are formally invited via the wedding invitations.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.

Question

Can I make a special request due to dietary restrictions or food allergies?

Answer

Please text us at (920) 716-3956 with any concerns and we will do our best to make accommodations.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony begins.

Question

Can I take pictures and videos?

Answer

We have hired a professional photographer and videographer for this event. We kindly ask that you do not take pictures or videos of your own, especially during the ceremony. Instead, we would rather you do your best to take in this special moment and put your devices away!
