Fort Townsend Historical State Park
Nice wooded trail systems, great spot for birding or walking the pups. Go walk the trails and check out all the underground bunkers. Get a look at the Castle that was brought over brick by brick on a ship and assembled in the park!
Port Townsend Farmers Market
A perfect place to peruse local crafts and Artisans. You may even peep Baylins work booth (Chimacum Vally Grain) selling locally grown and milled flours, Bread and pastries.
Rose Theatre
If you do have a little extra time, no better time spent than catching movie at this beautiful historical theatre. Best pop corn spread this side of the olympics.

Finnriver Farm & Cidery
A sister company of the Grainery where Baylin works. A great outdoor space, brewing local Cider and Carrying the Grainery beer on tap. A lot of food vendors and music performances.
Finistère
Finistère is a refined yet approachable restaurant in Port Townsend, known for its seasonal Northwest-inspired menu featuring house-made pastas, local seafood, and thoughtfully crafted cocktails. You will not regret it, be sure to make a reservation, this spot fills up fast on the weekends.
Ajax Cafe
Local staple right on the water next to the wooden boat school. Northwest cuisine located just a few miles south of Port Townsend in Lower Hadlock. Comfortable indoor or outdoor dining cocktails and a variety of beer and wine.
Hamma Hamma Oyster Saloon
Some of the best oysters in WA, right from the source! The Saloon is outdoor, rustic, and very oyster-centric. They have a rotating selection of local beer and wine, and we welcome children and well-behaved dogs. Watch the tide roll off the flats, slurp some oysters, and enjoy a local brew.
Hurricane Ridge
This is a great spot about a 1hr 15 min drive from downtown PT. Amazing view and you can drive right to the peak!

Sail Port Townsend
A close friend started this charter business. She is a dear friend and such a wonderful captain. If you have the time the best way to see the peninsula is by boat. We hope you look her up.
