Kaleigh and Bryce have been best friends since the nursery at their church. Through every change, phase, and self-growth that has made them complete opposites, they remained best friends. It's the kind of friendship where months can go by, and the two pick up exactly where they left off. Kaleigh's family is Bryce's second family, and they have been the ones to call when Bryce's car runs out of gas or what to do about school. Through every success, failure, heartbreak, and bad decision, Kaleigh has always offered her honesty and support. She has Bryce's back and usually ends up giving the "I told you so" speech, but Kaleigh and Bryce will always be soulmates.

Alexander Tanner

Best Man

Alexander and Brandon have been friends since middle school at Faith Academy. They played soccer together all throughout middle and high school. Alexander is currently working a job while coaching the middle school soccer team where he and Brandon met. Along with his girfriend Lauryn, the two have played a big part in Brandon and Bryce's relationship. Alexander is the definition of a true friend. Oh and ask him about the podium in Gatlinburg.

Bralynn East

Bralynn is Brandon' s little sister, and the little sister Bryce always wanted. Bralynn and Bryce have been close ever since their first of many games of UNO, even though Bralynn still cheats. The two bonded over braiding hair, learning how to cartwheel, and their interests in the "gross part" of the medical field. While Brandon was at school in Texas, Bralynn and Bryce would spend time together to get their minds off of missing Brandon.. and just because it was always a good time.

Zachery East

Zachery is Brandon's older brother. He taught Brandon everything that an older brother should teach their younger brother and more. As an older brother, he has been a big influence and person of advice to Brandon. Zachery served in the US Army as a medic, and he will be Brandon's first salute upon his commissioning. He now lives and works in Miami, FL.

Savannah Layman

Savannah and Bryce met in eighth grade when Savannah transferred to Mobile Christian. Their lockers were right next to each other, and they had several of the same classes. Throughout high school, the two were never seen apart and even shared a few parent teacher conferences and detention together. Cutting up in class, struggling to understand math, and sneaking in and out of the house are some of their favorite memories. Savannah moved in with Bryce earlier this year, and they now share the struggle of nursing school. Who wants to break the news to her when it is time for her to move out?

Samuel East

Sam is Brandon's younger brother. He is actually the tallest of the three East boys, but we will let you decide who is the most handsome. In high school, he played soccer and football and was involved in various extracurricular activities. He now attends the University of Alabama as a freshman business major. He is single and ready to mingle. If he does not ask you first, be sure to ask him to dance.

Rebecca Nonnenmacher

Rebecca is Bryce's not-so-evil step-sister, but they refer to each other as sisters. Although they have only been "official" sisters for less than three years, there has always been a connection between the two. The two are very different but also alike when it comes to puppies or adding glitter. Rebecca's dark humor, child-at-heart personality, and motherly advice makes for some interesting conversations whenever they are together. Brandon, Bryce, Rebecca, and her fiancé, Thomas share rooms during every family vacation, and together have made some unforgettable memories.

Kenan Brackin

Kenan and Brandon were ballboys together in the first year of the Faith Academy soccer program. The two played soccer together all throughout middle and high school. Given the opportunity, Brandon would have married Kenan to be part of the Brackin family. However, Kenan's wife Madeline beat Brandon to it. No matter the time between visits, Brandon and Kenan can pick up right where they left off. After graduating from the University of Alabama, Kenan commissioned into the US Air Force. He is currenty in pilot training at Vance AFB, Oklahoma.

Laci Taylor

Laci and Bryce have basically been siblings since Laci was born. Laci is Kaleigh’s younger sister but also played the role of Bryce’s younger sister too. Over the years, Laci has always been the sweet one out of the three. Along with the rest of the Taylor family, Laci has always played a special role in Bryce’s life. Throughout the years, they fought like sisters, grew up like sisters, and shared clothes like sisters. Laci received the honor of being a 2021-2022 Azalea Trail Maid for her high school and wears the dress that many girls in Mobile dream of wearing. Their friendship has grown, but they will always love each other as life-long sisters

Robert Lozano

"Robert," "Rob," "Robbie," "Bobert," "Bobbie," "Lasagna," "Lazooznos," has been a dear friend to Brandon and eventually Bryce. Brandon and Robert met as "fish" in Company A-2 in the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M. The two have gone through college, the Corps, and even COVID quarantine together. Along with being great friends, Robert and Brandon were the best CO/XO combination on the Quad. Women and dogs both love Robert. There are not enough words to describe how great of a guy Robert is. After graduating from the greatest university, Robert commissioned into the US Army and will serve as a Quartermaster Officer.

Lauryn Jemison

Lauryn and Bryce met over a year ago when she and Alexander started dating. Lauryn walked right into Bryce's house and made herself right at home by going to sleep. Lauryn is one of those people that you meet one time but seem to know her your entire life. Lauryn, Alexander, Brandon, and Bryce have been there for each other through thick and thin in the last year, which leads them to believe that this friendship will last forever. Lauryn and Bryce both study in the medical field and share the struggle of school. There might be a little bit of an obligation for Alexander to marry Lauryn, but no pressure.

Garrick McCarthy

Also meeting as fish in Company A-2, Garrick and Brandon were meant to be. They were not old ladies (roommates) freshman year, but they would be for the next two and a half years until Garrick graduated. The unseparable pair were old ladies, Animal Science majors, workout partners, and members of Parsons Mounted Cavalry. They did almost everything together (do not ask about Rainbow Falls). In addition to Garrick being a great friend to the couple, Brandon is close the McCarthy family; he spends time with them and his brother regularly even without Garrick. Brandon's redheaded old lady graduated a semester early from Texas A&M, and he will start at Mississippi State University's College of Veterinary Medicine beginning Summer 2021.

Taylor Hencshel

Taylor and Bryce became friends when she and her boyfriend, Cameron, came to Mobile to visit from Texas A&M University for spring break 2020. The quarantine law for COVID-19 was placed while they were still in Mobile, so they were able to stay longer than they had planned. Bryce had gotten really close to Taylor that trip, and they have talked almost every day since. Bryce stays with Taylor when she visits Brandon, but partially comes just to visit Taylor too. The two have been each other's go-to person for advice, opinions, and pointless rants. Taylor graduated from Texas A&M University and plans to go to medical school, so she and Bryce can work together in obstetrician-gynecology and labor and delivery.

Cameron Goulden

Originally in an Air Force unit in the Corps of Cadets, Cameron was "adopted" into Company A-2 during their junior year. Having known him from Parsons Mounted Cavalry, Brandon and Garrick knew he would make a great addition to A-2. Once Garrick graduated, Cameron and Brandon were old ladies in their final semester in the Corps dorms. Along with his girlfriend Taylor, they have played a big part in Brandon and Bryce's relationship. Cameron and Brandon always know how to have a good time together. Cameron's favorite beer is a free one, and his second favorite is a cold one. Cameron is completing a victory lap year at Texas A&M with hopes to attend OCS to become an Officer in the US Army upon graduation.

Rooster

Canine of Honor

Marshal Reuben J. Cogburn "Rooster" East is a purebred Vizsla born on June 27, 2015, in Boaz, AL. Rooster is the most handsome member of the wedding party, and he knows it. Brandon drove 5 hours to get him from the breeder, and the two have been best friends ever since. He is named after the main character in the 1969 John Wayne classic "True Grit" (not the 2010 Jeff Bridges remake). When Brandon moved to College Station, Rooster went to live with Bryce at her home. No matter the time apart, Rooster has always been loyal to Brandon. As the two have become very close over the years, Rooster is excited to officially make Bryce his mommy.

Alec Argueta

In their first year at Texas A&M and the Corps of Cadets, Alec and Brandon were old ladies (roommates). fish Argueta and fish East seem to be characters of long ago, but it is a most cherished time in their lives. The two of them had pet fish and a pet rat freshman year. Though they were not old ladies the following three years, their friendship has continued to grow stronger. Alec will graduate from Texas A&M in August ‘21. Upon graduating, he will commission into the US Army and serve as an Infantry Officer.

Tyler Fletcher

Mr. Tyler Fletcher. Also in A-2 class of 2021, Tyler and Brandon lived in the room next to each other. Hailing from the state of Kansas, he was one of the few out-of-state people in the unit. Tyler is probably one of the smartest people you will meet; in college, he was always willing to help tutor you in a subject. Junior and senior year, Tyler was on Brigade Staff, but he was still involved with the buddy class. Tyler graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M in May ‘21.

Iain McVeigh

Iain is another one of the A-2 class of ‘21 boys. He and Tyler were roommates when they moved to another Brigade Staff. Though they lived in a different dorm, they were still active with unit activities and hanging out with the guys. Iain has always been a good and supportive friend. His girlfriend, Erin, actually helped with the engagement a great deal. Upon graduation in August, Iain will commission into the US Army National Guard to serve as an Infantry Officer while also pursuing a career in the film industry.

Anna and Bryce have been friends since the fifth grade at Mobile Christian School. Anna's outgoing personality balanced Bryce's shy personality throughout middle and high school. The two managed to find trouble everywhere they went, but they always had the best time. Music has been a big part in their friendship. They went to Justin Bieber's concert, attempted to write a song together, played piano all night at sleepovers, and randomly share sad songs with each other. Anna is an aspiring country music artist in Nashville, TN, so they are unable to see each other often. However, they keep in touch, and Anna always pays a visit when she comes home. Sadly, due to an opportunity in Anna’s music career, she will not be present for the wedding.
