Are the wedding and reception at the same place?

Answer

Yes! There will be an amount of time after the ceremony where the hall will be “flipped” into the reception hall. Cocktail hour will be downstairs in the 1895 room and guests are free to mingle outside of The Steeple.

What is the dress code?

Formal, Black-Tie Optional (suit and tie; floor-length gown, cocktail dress, pantsuit, etc.)

Are children welcome?

Answer

In order to allow all guests, including parents, a day of relaxation, we have chosen for our wedding day to be an adults-only occasion. We hope that this advanced notice means that you are still able to share this special day and enjoy a date night!

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes! Guests will have the option of beer or wine, served at the designated stations at the reception. Tea and water will be available if guests choose not to drink alcohol. The Steeple kindly asks for guests to refrain from bringing any outside alcohol to the venue.

Will there be food?

Answer

Yes! Heavy appetizers and hors d’oeuvres will be served during the reception. Lighter hors d’oeuvres will be served during the cocktail hour downstairs.
