We don't know! Due to climate change, some years it's almost as warm as 80 and sometimes as cold as freezing on New Year's Day in Austin. Thankfully, there is usually plenty of sunshine and there is also indoor dining and a covered pavilion for dancing.
As soon as you know that you're able to attend safely! We know that plans change and life can be crazy but please try to let us know your arrangements no later than November 30, 2021.
No. The wedding is RSVP only. However, we would love to meet your special someone before or after the wedding as we have a few events planned for the weekend (and might plan a few more)!
Cocktail attire, please. No ballgowns or tuxedos necessary but after all this time in quarantine please take this opportunity to get a little fancy. Men with neckwear (ties/bow-ties/ascots) and jackets and women in suits, jumpsuits, or dresses. Get glam, feel glitzy, shine in sequins... love glitter? Go for it! Just please do not wear a white dress unless you are marrying Bryce.
A bunch of places! Austin Public Health makes it pretty easy with a few sites: https://www.austintexas.gov/covid-testinfo or check here for the place closest to you: https://tdem.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=1e91fb79fa44417898738e5bff31a3d8/ (forgive the ugly link)
Cocktail Hour at the wedding venue (House on the Hill). After we are pronounced husband and wife, we welcome you to grab a drink and get some snackies. During this time, Amanda and Bryce will be taking all the photos but we will get back into the mix ASAP so we can mingle before dinner.
The wedding venue does provide parking. If you plan to drink, do not plan to drive. Please note, that Uber and Lyft are available throughout Austin and the venue does not tow.
