Country Club Plaza

This is such a great place for outdoor shopping. Free parking garages everywhere, excellent shops like Kendra Scott and The Art of Shaving. Beautiful architecture, too! The famous JC Nichols fountain is right there, too!

The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art

A Classic museum of Art and Art History. There is also a contemporary art museum on site with a captivating glass maze on the grounds.

Arabia Steamboat Museum

The bride's favorite local museum. Learn the astonishing history of a riverboat that crashed and sank in the 19th century, only to be discovered underneath a farm a century later!

Tanner's Bar & Grill- Shawnee

The Bride's former place of work! If you aren't here for a long time, but here for a good time, check out Tanner's in Shawnee! Music Bingo Trivia Thursday Nights and Live Music and Karaoke on Saturday Nights!

The BEST Amusement Park around! SO many rides and fun stores! Different parts of the world reflected in regional culture, design, food, and amazing rides!

David's local go-to shooting range. Here he's enjoyed target practice and technical training.... and sometimes they serve cookies!

Holy Field Vineyard & Winery

If you are looking for a beautiful (and cost-effective) winery to spend some time at, Holy Field is it. Check their event calendar, but also enjoy their walk-in wine tasting, adorable gift shop, and backyard motif. This is the bride's all time favorite recommendation: Tailgate Red.

If you're in the mood for greasy (delicious) food, billiards, or darts, this is the place for you!

Legends Outlets Kansas City

Another lovely spot for shopping. They also have a wonderful grassy area right outside Books-A-Million to enjoy your newly purchased publication in the comfort of the frolicking, happy public.

Boulevard Brewing Company

A local brewery that is a staple to all in KC. We took a brewery tour for Dave's 35th birthday, and would highly recommend it!
