Dan and Hayley first met in a beautiful place called the internet. They immediately clicked (well, swiped) and soon had their first date at Area 4 Arcade in Cambridge. Hayley bragged about her basketball skills and Dan *almost* let her win in hoops. Dan was humbled when Hayley crushed him in Mario Kart. They quickly became inseparable. Though Hayley and Dan only met in 2019, they had some mutual friends in high school and discovered they'd been friends on Facebook since 2012. Hayley is convinced this was Dan's attempt at planting the seed and this was his goal all along. They first moved in together in Harvard Square while Hayley finished PA school at Tufts. In April 2023 they bought their first home in Ayer, MA just down the street from a trail where Dan would propose a few months later. In December 2023 they welcomed an adorable but menacing Australian Shepherd into their family named Dexter (after a fictional serial killer). They are still questioning that decision.
