Maid of Honor
Taryn met Rocio in 2008 at training camp for the missions trip she attended in 2009. They instantly became besties and from there journeyed through some of life's wildest moments. They grew a sister bond that is like none other. They have traveled through 17 countries, laughter, tears, spiritual maturing, business, friendship, travel, hard moments, mountain-top moments, joyous times and abundant love together. God truly knew what He was doing when He created this friendship. The two of them could not be more opposite, but they have grown to see the beauty in that and helped each other grow because of it. Rocio is the life of the party. Where Rocio goes, there is fun to be had for all. She has the most life-giving contagious laugh and truly has a zeal for life. She recently married the love of her life, Antonio, and they reside in Los Angeles, CA. Make sure you meet this woman, she is life changing and will light up your life! Taryn would truly not be the person she is without this beautiful woman in her life.

I feel like I’ve known this man for 20 years and it’s only been a little over three. He has been such a solid foundation since the date we met, our daily conversations and time together is priceless. Him and his family, especially Britt and Taliah have a special place in my heart.
Shelby Black

Shelby and Taryn have been friends since the 4th grade. They really got close after high school and ventured into many of life's crazy times together (to say the least...lol). If you asked Taryn, she would say there has always been a really special place in her heart for Shelby, even when they lived 100's of miles away. In 2019, Taryn made the move to Texas and it would not have been possible without Shelby and her family. Taryn got to live with the Black Family for a year, quarantine with her bestie and get to know some of the best parts of Texas with Shelby. Texas would be the beginning of something even greater in their friendship. Shelby and Taryn could talk about health, detoxing, food, health-hacks, God, faith and anything that promotes self-improvement for days. They not only share a bond of sisterhood, but a bond for all things to improve their health and well-being. They are always sharing podcasts, encouraging each other to become better and learning to take a deep breath in life and focus on what truly matters.

Erin is Taryn's sister-in-law, wife of Taryn's brother Chad. This woman is one of a kind. She is a mother to 4 amazing little humans and truly one of Taryn's confidants. Erin is wise beyond her years, has a depth about her like none other and truly is one of Taryn's best friends. Taryn would explain Erin as super-mom, idea-extraordinaire, a woman who is deeply compassionate and who loves and honors God above all else. Erin is a powerful voice in Taryn's life and has walked with Taryn in some of her hardest moments. Taryn could not be more thankful for Chad picking this gem!

Jess and Taryn met in 2004 while in NYC doing an internship. Taryn felt so alone in a big city and literally prayed and asked for a friend and Jessica showed up at her door...literally. From then on it was besties for life. Jessica is one of the most vibrant, intelligent, fun, deep, loving and glamourous women you will ever meet. Jess and Taryn have shared laughs, tears, travels and everything in between together. This woman will truly invigorate you to love and explore all life has! Congratulations to her, you can now address her as Dr. Jessica Styles. This woman knows what hard work looks like, how to persevere and how to love life in the midst of it all. She will be joining us fellow Texans soon as she embarks on a new chapter of her life with the love of her life, Corey, in San Antonio, TX.

Taryn has know Brittany for a very short time, in fact the same time she has know Bryan. She and her husband, Josh, kind of came as a package deal with Bryan. Taryn quickly connected with Britt. As most of you know, Taryn is a woman of depth, she does not care for surface relationships and depth is what she found in Britt. Britt is a mighty woman of God, owns her own counseling business, is a mother to precious Taliah and is a woman of purity. She is a woman you can bring anything to and she will love you where you are, challenge you to grow and cheer you on getting there. Taryn believes she met Britt for many reasons, but one of them being to journey through the rest of this life with and help build the Kingdom of God.

Friends since elementary school and life long sisters. These two were attached at the hips all through high school and college. Sarah, like most of Taryn's closest friends, is completely opposite of her. Sarah is the life of any party and filled with the BEST and most AMAZING wise cracks. Just talk to her for 2 minutes and you will be laughing. Sarah and Taryn went to college together in Long Beach where they probably partied too much and got into too much trouble. That being said, thankfully Taryn had Sarah, which if truth be told, Sarah is probably the reason Taryn is still alive. These two share a very special bond, one that has grown and morphed over different seasons, but one that can't be broken. Taryn is so thankful to have a friendship that has stood the test of time and is so genuine!

Sister of Bryan and now new sister to Taryn! Though they have not known each other long, Taryn knows one thing for sure, Brandie is a amazing, caring, intelligent, faith-filled woman. You can't help but love her beautiful soul. She has welcomed Taryn into the family in the most loving way and truly loves and adores her brother. Residing in Maryland with her beautiful daughter, Madison (flower girl) and her hilarious husband Justin, Taryn looks forward to many family moments with them on the Eastern Shore.
