Our prayers have been answered.

Bryan and Taryn both serve at their church and just happen to be on the same serving schedule. On the days they serve, they would sit in specific seats so they could sneak out early. It was September 2021 and Bryan and Taryn happen to be sitting near each other since they were serving. During the greeting part of service they introduced themselves to each other and then sat down. Bryan said it caught his attention that Taryn was so personable asking his name, it was something different. Taryn knew there was something intriguing about him, but they left it at that. The next weekend came and they said hello one more time. Then Bryan was planning on asking Taryn to coffee the following week, but when Sunday came she was nowhere to be found. Taryn was celebrating her beautiful friend Rocio's wedding in Colombia. Rewind multiple months, Taryn had seen Bryan on her dating app a few times and specifically said to God, "If you want me to meet this guy, you make it happen at church." She didn't want some awkward dating app date to make things weird at church in case it didn't work out. So, back to the story, he waited another week an still couldn't find her, so he did what he didn't want to do and slid into her DM's. He asked her to coffee and she said yes! They met up at church that following weekend and then hit the coffee shop. Conversation was good, but let's be honest, two introverts, there were some dull moments....lol. But that did not stop them, Bryan being the man he is, followed the date up with a text shortly after and said he had a great time and wanted to take her to dinner that week. She was excited, a man of God had set out to pursue her. She found this man to be truly amazing, but still wasn't sure how it could workout with two introverts. She thought, surely her future husband would be an extrovert...but that did not stop her being drawn to this man. Fast forward a week, they began to talk everyday. Few weeks more, Bryan actually told her that he knew she was the woman he wanted to spend forever with. Taryn with her walls and hesitations said, hold up, can we take this a bit slower. Go figure, she had prayed for this man for 17 years, he was everything she had asked for and more and now she had no idea what to do with it. She asked him, "Can you hold off on the forever talk because I need some time to process things." She was very much into him, but needed to slow it down a bit. Bryan so confidently said, "Yes of course, take all the time you need." (Even though Bryan was exactly what she had prayed for and she had asked God to do it quickly and now she needed time....true Taryn style, she doesn't do anything fast...lol) A month or so later, Taryn asked Bryan, "Why haven't you mentioned spending our future together lately?" and Bryan said like any good man would say, "You asked me not to." Then she said, "Well, you can start talking about it now, I am ready." They took the next 4 months to get to know each other better, meet each others family, ask the hard questions and really figure out what each other was passionate about. They spent almost every day together and knew that God was doing something really special between them. Then, true to Bryan style (when he is ready to do something, he hits the gas pedal...he does not take his time, unlike Taryn), he was ready to pop the question. With the help of their amazing friends, they put together a surprise proposal in two days, picked the ring out and popped the question on March 26, 2022. Taryn was in pure shock, she had no idea it was coming, she literally was speechless. As soon as she could find worlds, she said, "Yes baby!!!!" As tears were rolling down Bryan's face he said, "Are you crying?" She said with a little laugh, "No baby, that is just the way it's going to be, you are going to be the one crying."
