Our Story

We met toward the end of our freshman year of college, just before the world changed. Right before COVID hit, we went on a few sweet and simple dates that sparked something special. When everything shut down, instead of drifting apart, we leaned in. What started as a few dates quickly turned into endless FaceTime calls and constant texting, simply wanting to know more about each other. On April 15, 2020, we officially chose each other. As the world slowly began to open back up, our relationship continued to grow. Most of our dates were simple. We spent time walking in parks and being outside, enjoying the quiet moments that built a strong foundation for us. When sophomore year arrived, we faced our first real test. Bryan attended Middle Georgia State University in Macon, while Nicole was at Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, about 45 minutes away. It was not long distance, but it required effort, sacrifice, and intentionally choosing one another. Through it all, we supported each other’s dreams. Bryan worked toward becoming a pilot, and Nicole pursued her calling to become a teacher. We learned how to live independent lives while building a life together. We poured into our friendships, studies, and goals, but in the end, we always came back to each other, sharing stories and making new memories. Right before senior year, our little family began to grow. We adopted our first dog, Eley, our sweet Aussie mix and future flower girl. Senior year was filled with training sessions, long walks, and learning how to navigate life as a couple with a dog. Eley made everything more fun and definitely more interesting. After graduation, Nicole moved to Warner Robins to join Bryan and Eley, and we stepped into a new season of living together. That year brought growth in new ways. Bryan supported Nicole through her first year of teaching, and together we learned what it meant to be better partners while sharing everyday life. The following year, we added another member to the family. Goose, our golden retriever and future ring bearer. He brought even more joy and energy into our home. Life with two dogs has been full of laughter and a little chaos, even if Eley does not always appreciate Goose’s enthusiasm. Still, our little family continued to grow in love. After two years in Warner Robins, we moved to Woodstock to be closer to Bryan’s family and to support his journey in aviation. Shortly after settling in, Bryan planned the perfect surprise and proposed on a hike at Cloudland Canyon. From FaceTime calls during a pandemic to building a home filled with love and dogs, every season has shaped us into who we are today. We cannot wait to celebrate our wedding with you and promise always and forever, surrounded by the people who have supported our story from the very beginning.
