This is one of our favourite places, with tons of options, and is where Bryan proposed to Marisa. Enjoy a nice walk through the park, or the beautiful English Garden. Check out the zoo! For a nice drink outdoors, check out Cargo Bar. The Leaf also has some great plants from all over the world. There are plenty of great options to enjoy at Assiniboine Park!
This is a Winnipeg hotspot, and where we (and so many other Winnipeggers) went on our first date. There are many cool little shops, tons of outdoor space to explore, and lots of awesome food & drink choices in their Common Market. When you ask a local where you should check out in Winnipeg, The Forks is the most likely answer.
Bryan's favourite restaurant! The Detroit style pizza is fantastic and everything on the menu delivers consistently. This was where we had dinner with many of our closest friends right before Bryan proposed.
Marisa's favourite restaurant! The brisket & Brazen bacon are always on our list, but the whole menu is full of amazing options, and really has something for everyone. This has been our place for many birthday & anniversary celebrations!
An awesome spot for sushi, and a true hole in the wall location. Our favourite roll here is the Aburi Salmon Pro! Located just a couple minutes away from tons of other great options on Corydon Ave, and from the famous Confusion Corner.
Winnipeg's biggest mall, conveniently located about 3 minutes from the venue!
A good mall option located in one of the newest areas of town. Also look for IKEA, Krispy Kreme and many other options in this area.
