What started as an innocent carpool to Kirkwood for a New Year’s party with mutual friends turned into a blossoming love story. Bryan was taken by her engaging sense of humor, light and witty personality, and how they could talk about any topic from the moment they met. Laura loved the way he rolled with the punches and was so grounded. Oh, and she thought he was just as cute as he looked on his Facebook page, which of course she stalked before letting him in the car (note - he did not know this). After that first weekend in Kirkwood, it felt like we had known each other much longer than just a few days. And for good reason, as we soon discovered shared interests in cooking, running, hiking, Thai food, long walks, ice cream, and getting out in nature. It wasn’t long before we realized we had found something special, and continued to grow closer based on the strong bond formed during that New Year’s weekend in Kirkwood. We’re so grateful we said “yes” to a random carpool that led to us meeting each other, and can’t wait to celebrate all the adventures to come with our closest friends and family!
