Question

Where do I park?

Answer

St. Peter’s Catholic Church offers on-site parking directly by the church and also across the street. Kingwood Center offers free parking on-site with a golf cart and driver available to drive guests to reception location (reception location is a 3-5 minute walk from parking area).

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal (meaning cocktail attire or Sunday best)

Question

What is the menu?

Answer

During cocktail hour, relish trays (consisting of olives, carrot sticks, celery, broccoli, cauliflower, radishes, sweet pickle mix, tomato, cucumbers, and fresh dill dip) and homemade Chex Mix will be served. For dinner, we will be serving a buffet consisting of BBQ chicken with buns, home style macaroni and cheese, and smokehouse veggies. Cake will be plated and brought to your table after dinner.

Question

How long is cocktail hour?

Answer

Cocktail hour will run from a little before 3:00 to 4:30. Light appetizers and a beer/wine bar will be available. Feel free to walk and enjoy the beautiful grounds at Kingwood during this time! Cocktail tables will be set up on the patio for you to socialize as well. Shortly after 4:30, we will begin the reception rituals then eat dinner around 5:15!

Question

What happens if it is bad weather?

Answer

If our day turns out to be rainy or stormy, we will move our reception from the outdoor brick patio area to inside the Carriage House at Kingwood. Please pray for sunshine and mild temps!

For all the days along the way
