Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony will be in the Mural Room at the Santa Barbara Courthouse at 1PM. Please plan to arrive at least fifteen minutes earlier so you are on time. The cocktail hour and reception will be at Mizza Restaurant beginning at 4PM.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We are asking all of our guests to wear ALL BLACK. We highly encourage black-tie attire and would love our guests to dress up with us. This means black suits, black shirts and black dresses, DRESS TO THE NINES! Elevated cocktail attire will also work.

What does "black-tie encouraged" mean?

Answer

"Black-tie encouraged" means we are hoping guests will dress in formal evening attire or their most formal attire. For men, this typically means wearing a tuxedo or black suit tie optional, while women are encouraged to wear a formal evening gown, a chic cocktail dress, or an elegant dressy outfit. We understand that not everyone may have access to a tuxedo or gown, so everyone is welcome to dress in their best formal wear.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We do not mind if you take photos or videos. We only ask you to be respectful and mindful of our photographer and videographer as they work to capture our most special moments.

Can I wear other colors?

Answer

Please only wear BLACK clothing. Black-tie encouraged but elevated cocktail works. This is important to us.

What time should we arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

You can arrive as early as 12:30 PM, but please arrive no later than 12:45 PM. Our ceremony will start promptly at 1PM.

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, only those listed formally on the invitation are able to join us for our special day. If you received a plus one, they will be listed on the invite and RSVP card.

Can I bring my little ones?

Answer

We love your little ones so much but our wedding and reception are adult-only celebrations. We hope you understand and enjoy this as a date night.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as you possibly can, but no later than Sunday, February 2, 2025. You can RSVP by clicking the RSVP tab. If we do not receive your RSVP by this date, you will be marked as 'No' and greatly missed!

How do I get to the reception?

Answer

The reception space is a five minute walk from our ceremony space.

What do I do in between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

You can do anything you'd like! Grab a bite, grab a drink, go back to your hotel and relax, the choice is completely yours. Please check out our "Guest Guide" section for ideas. Our cocktail hour will begin at 4PM, and we will be there to enjoy the rest of our night with you all.

We will be having Italian food. Please indicate whether a vegetarian option is needed on your RSVP.
