we're getting married

Our story is one of love in its purest form, and because of love, that is how we came into each other’s lives. Little did we know that our mutual friends, Natalie and Anthony’s engagement, would grant our love the opportunity to blossom. Bryan's breath was taken away the moment he laid eyes on Alyssa at the engagement party; one could say it was love at first sight. Not knowing that their friends had already briefed Alyssa on who Bryan was, their first interaction was simply, “Hi, my name is Bryan” and “Hi, I’m Alyssa” because Alyssa was too nervous, and Bryan thought she just wasn’t interested. Alyssa and Bryan were both asked to be a bridesmaid and groomsman for Natalie and Anthony's wedding, and it was decided that they would be paired together; cupid much? The night the bridal party pairs were announced, Alyssa and Bryan had the opportunity hang out and get to know one another. During that night, Alyssa mustered her strength to be playful and flirtatious, but Bryan… just thought she was being friendly lol The wedding took place a year later, and although Alyssa and Bryan developed a friendship over that time, they both knew they had deeper feelings for one another. The weekend of the wedding, the two of them created rich and precious memories with one another. From watching movies, having a pillow fight, spending an evening around a bonfire, and most importantly, walking down the aisle together, in the spirit of love. At the end of the wedding weekend, Bryan asked Alyssa out on an adventure to eat Nashville hot chicken sandwiches at Howlin’ Rays, and the rest was history. They waited in line for 3.5 hours at Howlin’ Rays, yet in that time, they shared and learned more about each other than they had in the past year, and this is a testament to the depth of their relationship. Fun fact, Alyssa and Bryan both had prior commitments that evening, but yet, they didn’t want their date to end, so they decided they would be each other's plus one. Bryan accompanied Alyssa to her friend's birthday party, neither of them realizing that it was a casino themed party, Bryan showed up in a Hawaiian shirt. What it is to be ~ lost in love ~ Japan has a very special place in their hearts, and little did they know it would be home to their fairytale moment. On day one, they found themselves in a private, hidden cherry blossom grove in full bloom, surrounded by peaceful deer, on the beautiful island of Miyajima. Bryan watched as Alyssa admired the beauty and tranquility of the breathtaking scenery, and it was then, that Bryan was met with peace and calmness which assured him that every decision they had made in their lives, brought them together for this moment. Bryan proposing to the woman he loves, and Alyssa saying yes, to spending the rest of her life with the man she loves, in that wondrous grove surrounded spectacular beauty, it was a fairytale. This was fate. This, is love.
