Travel Note
Parking is free at our main visitor parking lot for Glen Echo Park, which is located just off MacArthur Boulevard on Oxford Road, across from the Glen Echo Shopping Center. From the parking lot, follow the foot bridge across the Minnehaha Creek to enter the park. While the park is located at 7300 MacArthur Blvd, Glen Echo, MD, 20812, please use the following address If using a GPS device or mapping application to reach the correct parking lot: 5801 Oxford Road Glen Echo, MD 20812 Please note that the upper parking lot located directly off of MacArthur Blvd is permit only. Parking permits are for staff, artists, and students and are handled by the Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture.

Flight
This airport is the closest to the city and metro accessible. It tends to be a little more expensive to fly into, but the other airports are about 30 miles out of the city, so be sure to factor in transportation costs.

Located about 30 miles from DC in Virginia, getting to the District on public transit from Dulles requires taking a bus to the metro station. You can also take a taxi, supershuttle, or Uber/Lyft to get into the city. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you're unsure about how to get into the city. Flight
Getting to DC from BWI via public transit can be accomplished by either taking a free shuttle to the Amtrak station and boarding either Amtrak or MARC trains to Union Station, or by taking a WMATA metro bus to Greenbelt metro station and riding into the city on the green line. You can also take a Taxi, Uber/Lyft, or Super Shuttle from the airport to your hotel. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have questions on how to get to your hotel from BWI.
