Our Story

When nerd meets nerd there's only one thing to do...Have a nerdy wedding!

It all began with the fateful swipe. While navigating the digital wilderness of Tinder, Elisabeth’s eyes locked onto a specimen of rare vintage: a Handsome Blonde Fellow. His profile was the ultimate trifecta of early-2000s longing: House: Hufflepuff (Loyal, kind, patient, unafraid of toil). Vibe: Paleontology Emo Enthusiast. Goal: Looking for love (and presumably someone to tell him it wasn't just a phase). Elisabeth knew she had to secure the bag. Naturally, she deployed the opening line known to womankind: "Hey.” The Evolution of the Spark After a flurry of nerdy banter that would make a Comic-Con moderator weep, the two finally met in the flesh in July 2018. Bryan, a man of exquisite taste and whimsy, picked her up for a date consisting of: Revolving Sushi: Nothing says "I trust you" like raw fish on a conveyor belt. Rad Coffee: To ensure they were caffeinated enough to keep the "Scene" aesthetic alive. The chemistry was undeniable. By August 12, 2018, they made it "Facebook Official" (or whatever the kids were doing back then), and the rest is history. The Miles & The Memories Over the next several years, Elisabeth and Bryan treated life like an open-world RPG. They’ve braved every biome imaginable: The Great Outdoors: National Parks (for the views). The Great Indoors: Cruise ships (for the midnight pizza). The Magical: Disney and Universal trips (where Bryan learned that "Hufflepuff" is actually a lifestyle, not just a label and just becuase you like blue does not mean you are a Ravenclaw). The Loud: Music festivals where the emo heart still beats strong. Through the belly laughs and the inevitable "dark times" (likely involving a lack of Wi-Fi or a sad playlist), they remained each other’s deluminator. The Final Frontier: Marriage After seven years of adventuring, they realized they had reached the final boss of relationships. In August 2025, the two officially put a ring on it. They are now transitioning from "travel buddies" to "legal roommates with a shared tax return”. Next Stop: The Wedding. (Black eyeliner and house robes optional, but encouraged.)
