Man of Honor
My brother has been my best friend my entire life. He is truly a one-of-a-kind individual and I've always admired him for that. Every memory with Bronne is a fun one - from dancing to Katie Perry's Hot & Cold in the car, singing Robyn Dancing On My Own at the family Thanksgiving dinner table, to punching someone in the face for me (out of self-defense), I literally would be absolutely hopeless and lost without him. He is my biggest fan, my best protector, and my closest confidant. Oh yeah, and he was on the Real World (Cancun).
Best Man
Caleb and I first met in elementary school and became best friends in high school. We went on spring break together all 4 years, hung out at the county fair, made beer pong tables, and drove to Boston to watch a game on the Green Monster. Even though we live 1,300 miles we have always made an effort to stay up to date in each other's lives.
Bridesmaid
or, more accurately known as, ALYZN JNZZ. Allison has always been a wonderful sister to me. When we were little, we quickly figured out how to get exactly what we wanted with flawless execution. We would have Alli ask. Alli and I would scheme together and agree on what our priority was for the night.... should we ask for a trip to Blockbuster to get the new Mary-Kate and Ashley movie or convince them to let us get pizza for dinner before TGIF came on?! Once we mutually agreed upon our plans, Alli would pick the perfect time to strike! She was always down to help a sister out with the end goal of having fun. It's only fitting that she'll join me as a bridesmaid with all the scheming aspects of a wedding <3
Groomsman
Sam and I met in college during our freshman year and became roommates for our final 3 years of college. Good times were had, as our apartment became a hub for all of our friends to gather after track practice and on the weekends. Sam now lives on Cape Cod, has a successful law career, and a great family but whenever we see each other we can pick up like we never left UofL.
Bridesmaid
KELSEY! Kelsey, my girl. When we were little, Kelsey and I got to see each other every other weekend. And let me tell you, we made the most of it! It was the most fun sleepover ever because it was with my sister <3 We would always stay up super late to get midnight snacks. We would say our prays, get tucked in, and wait for what felt like HOURS (in reality, it was probably ~20-30 minutes). Once we thought the coast was clear, we'd go full recon in the house and get into the candy jar! Kelsey is a sounding board and a guiding light in tough times. She has always kept everything in perspective and is amazing at reminding you just how far you've come as you grow in life. I don't know what I'd do without her!
Groomsman
Drew and I also met during our freshman year at UofL. Before bourbon was popular, we completed the Bourbon Trail, visiting Maker's Mark for my 21st birthday. We have visited each other across the country as we moved about to try and find our "home." He is a life-long friend that is always there for his friends and family.
Bridesmaid
Meredith is one of the most emotionally attune and gracious people you'll ever meet. She will always listen to you talk and give sound advice. Because of this and because she is the best older sister, Mere has acted as my resident therapist throughout the years... although, unfortunately for her, she doesn't get paid 😂. Mere is so sweet, so kind, and so fun-loving! P.S. She is the best singer and dancer I know, so you will certainly be seeing her killing it on the dance floor 💃
Groomsman
Where do I even start with Isaac. We also met at UofL and became close when we both stayed at Louisville to train for the summer. This consisted of Isaac sleeping on an air mattress in Sam and I's living room, hitting the weight room hard, and going fishing on Isaac's boat. The only downfall of Isaac is when you hook Nessy the Loch Nest Monster, he will just look on in shock at the size of the bass instead of reaching for the net. Joking aside, Isaac is a great friend and just like the others we can pick up like we never left UofL.
Bridesmaid
Elise & I met on the very first day of high school on the bus. She was the 1st stop and I was the 2nd. Elise was so sweet and outgoing sticking her hand out to shake mine as she introduced herself. I on the other hand was a little more guarded and reserved. Thankfully, that didn't slow down this 17-year long friendship. From jamming out to blink 182, lifeguarding at LMT (and the shenanigans that came with that), to long-distance zoom dates talking about what to do with our (mostly mine) lives, I don't know what I would do without Elise in my life. I am grateful for her every single day <3 P.S. our pups our BFFs
Groomsman
Andrew and I met in Houston at my first job working for the Houston Dynamo. I, being a little uncultured, pronounced his last name "Jim-en-ez", but he was too kind to correct me. We became roommates in Houston and attended too many sporting events to count (Final Four, USA vs. Argentina soccer match, and many more). Eventually, Andrew moved home to Pennsylvania and I moved to Colorado, but we have remained close and found time to watch a game or two when we are in the same city.
Bridesmaid
Where do I even start with Jena? I actually don't remember how Jena and I became friends, I just know there was a time when I didn't have her as my best friend and then a time when I did and I never want to look back. Being friends with Jena is one of the greatest gifts of my life. Jena is not only the funniest person I know she also has one of the biggest hearts I've ever come across. If you're lucky enough to know Jena, then welcome to a world full of belly laughs and love. I can promise you there is no one in the world like Jena with one N <3.
Officiant
Brandon Ray (better known as Bray) will be our officiant. Bray has become an amazing friend to both Amy & Kevin. He has always been a champion of ours - so much so that when Kevin told him we were dating, he was so happy for us we decided to make it our dating anniversary. Amy & Kevin's friendships with Bray blossomed separately but together they are the three best friends that anyone could have. Bray is the burst of positivity we all need in our lives. We are so honored to have our dear friend marry us.
