Things To Do

Here are some of our favorite places in the area! Whether you're staying near the family or elsewhere, we hope that you can make the most out of your time in the PNW!
Vancouver Waterfront

Vancouver Waterfront

695 Waterfront Way, Vancouver, WA 98660

There's plenty of cafes and restaurants for you to explore! The food is a bit pricey, but you can enjoy beautiful views while you dine, or enjoy a walk along the water. Fun fact: Parker used to work at El Gaucho on the waterfront

Oak Tree Station

Oak Tree Station

5900 Northwest Friberg-Strunk Street, Camas, WA 98607

Oak tree station is a food truck spot in the Camas area! They have plenty of options to pick from for a lunch or dinner. It does get crowded fast, so parking and seating can sometimes be a challenge.

Hockinson Market

Hockinson Market

15814 Northeast 182nd Avenue, Brush Prairie, WA 98606

The market is located between the high, middle, and elementary schools where we grew up (also about halfway between the Billington and Bruning households)! It's a great stop for pizza, ice cream, or drinks.

Vancouver Farmers Market

Vancouver Farmers Market

605 Esther Street, Vancouver, WA 98660

Located in downtown Vancouver, the farmers market is open Saturdays and Sundays throughout the summer, and is a great opportunity to shop locally. We recommend the flowers, jams and jellies, and hummus (a favorite of the bride's parents)!

Al & Ernie’s Bakery Cafe

Al & Ernie’s Bakery Cafe

802 East Main Street, Battle Ground, WA 98604

Located on Main Street in Battle Ground, Al & Ernie's is a delish cafe and bakery! While often busy, it is a great place to grab a coffee and pastry while catching up with family and friends. Parking in the area is limited, so we recommend carpooling! Nearby, you can explore the battle ground farmer's market, or take a walk down Main Street to see one of the places the couple has spent their lives exploring.

Powell's City of Books

Powell's City of Books

1005 West Burnside Street, Portland, OR 97209

Powell's is the world's largest independent bookstore! If you are a reader, it is definitely worth a visit. It is located in downtown Portland, so you can walk or drive around the area to see more of the city.
