We’re getting married!

We had gone to middle and high school together, but were never really in the same groups. We graduated together on June 10th of 2022, both going to the grad night celebration at Big Al's. We were both with our own friends playing arcade games. In pairs, our respective friends started playing air hockey with each other. Then we played together. Eventually our friends left, and it was just us two deciding what to do next. We talked and played games. Kaitlyn got coffee from the cart, Parker came with and waited with her. We played the Jurassic Park game. Kaitlyn died a lot, Parker had his Big Al's card ready to swipe to revive her. We spent the entire night together, just talking and moving between games. Sometime around 4am when we got back to the school, we exchanged numbers and Snapchats. We haven't stopped hanging out since.

We both knew we wanted to get engaged, we had plenty of conversations about our future engagement and marriage, but we both agreed it was best to wait until after Kaitlyn had graduated. Well, Kaitlyn said to wait until graduation, and Parker was very patient. Parker began the ring search in October 2025, Kaitlyn graduated and moved home March 14, 2026. On March 29th, Kaitlyn got her nails done with her sister, while Parker turned off his location and got ready at the park. Kaitlyn's sister drove her home but "missed the turn" and drove an extra couple minutes to the park where Parker was waiting with a bouquet in hand. We went for a walk and eventually Parker got down on his knee and asked if we could spend the rest of our lives together. It was very intimate, and exciting. Everything that we both had wanted.
