The dress code is elegant summer attire. Ladies, think chic, light fabrics. For the gents, please come dressed in a suit - dark shades like navy blue or black. The ceremony and celebration will be outdoors by the sea so don't forget your sunglasses 😎 and a light scarf for the evening breeze. Heels are okay — the event is on solid ground, not sand!
Albania uses the Lek (ALL). Euros are sometimes accepted in touristic areas but change may be given in Lek, so we recommend exchanging a small amount when arriving. Most restaurants, hotels, and shops in Vlorë accept credit and debit cards, but it's a good idea to have some cash on hand for taxis, small purchases, or remote areas.
Most EU carriers offer free roaming in Albania, but check with your provider. Alternatively, we recommend getting an online eSIM card if your phone supports it. For a physical SIM, you can purchase one upon arrival at Tirana Airport or in any city. Local providers include Vodafone Albania, One, and ALBtelecom. They usually offer tourist packages with generous data plans.
