The other half of the “Backwards Hat Boys,” Kyle and I have been inseparable since elementary school, when we discovered we lived just five houses apart. From filming ridiculous summer music videos (don’t look up our YouTube channel) to visiting him on his Army base, I quickly realized that after growing up with two sisters and begging my parents for a brother, I always had one in Kyle.

We’ve been best friends since 6th grade, always known as inseparable and attached at the hip. From our crazy, carefree days running around Warner to me basically pretending to go to UF with her by spending every weekend up there and cheering at every gator football game I could get to, and now standing beside each other in our weddings. She been such a constant in my life. I’m beyond grateful and excited to have her by my side on my wedding day!

We became close back in our high school baseball days, when Aaron, as my catcher, would make me laugh by walking out to the mound to call me an idiot whenever I walked a guy, and I’d return the favor when he struck out at the plate. We get each other’s humor better than just about anyone, and from those days on the field to late-night video game sessions while living together at UCF, he’s been one of my closest friends.

I’ve known this girl since 4th grade, and even though she didn’t always love me at first, the joke’s on her…18 years later, she’s still stuck with me. From our colorguard days to countless visits while she was at UCF, she’s been there through it all. Add in her elite FBI-level investigation skills, and there’s truly never a dull moment with her.

Bobby and I have grown closer in recent years, through video games, UCF and FSU football, and now our (seemingly mandatory) weekly dinners. Both Brooke and Bobby's fiancée, Lexi, appreciate that whenever there’s a movie in theaters they’re not interested in, Bobby and I have no problem just going together.

From high school acquaintances to surviving nursing school together, she’s been my trashy TV and queso loving partner in crime through it all. From our five-mile bridge walks where we somehow talked the entire way, to now standing by my side on this day. I couldn’t be happier to have her with me!

From fishing trips and baseball games to fires on the trails, Alafaya trash days, and one questionable ride down Hatbill Road, Trey and I have racked up more stories than I can count. After living together for two years at UCF, we’ve learned we’re better off in separate homes, but never apart.

Nothing brings people closer than surviving the trenches of the pediatric ER together. I’m so glad that work friends turned into real life besties. She’s always up for a good time and knows how to keep the fun going. I can’t wait to have her by my side on this special day!

The enforcer in middle school basketball and the comic relief at church camp, Blake's always been the first guy I call when I need something, but the last guy I trust with a fist bump. I need my life-long friend standing next to me at the wedding so we can keep an eye on him.

Little did we know that while Jorge was scouting me at UCF club baseball tryouts, we’d end up as law school roommates, professional co-workers, and best friends in no time. As Zeke’s first co-parent and my first golf partner (where “par” is more of a suggestion than a goal) we’ve discovered we're similar in many ways and always down for a good time.
