Maddie is Rachel’s younger sister. The one Rachel tortured. The one Rachel gave fudgicles to when she “babysat” her. Maddie is current serving in the Air Force and school at the Air Force Academy, but they remain close with FaceTime calls. Rachel being the best middle sister she can, but also teaching Maddie how to break the rules, because that’s what middle children do.

Alec is the brother Brendan never had. They grew up biking and golfing, went to Iowa State together and were roommates all 4 years, graduated together and now drink and golf together.

Katie Baker

Katie is Rachel’s older sister. They butted heads in high school but were then “roommates” living with G&G in Duluth during their college years. After 23yrs, Rachel still calls Katie for advice, being the best older sister.

Tanner and Brendan have been friends since high school. There have been several double dates between Tanner and his girlfriend, Alicia, and Brendan and Rachel throughout the years.

Tessa Erickson-Thoemke

Rachel and Tessa met early freshman year of college. They never lived together, never had classes together, but always had a great friendship. Tessa went on the Ireland study abroad trip that Rachel went on when she was 10yo and became close all through college, they graduated from Scholastica together.

Austin (Marine) Yeigh

Austin and Brendan have been friends since a young age. They met playing hockey together all the way through high school. Living so distant, they remain good friends, both gaming online and visiting each other.

Sydney and Rachel met freshman year of college. Initially, Rachel didn’t seem too fond of Syd, but she grew on Rachel and were often seen as sisters. They got asked often if they were. They were in nursing school together until Syd changed majors, but they stayed close and graduated together from Scholastica.

Brady is also a friend Brendan has had since grade school. Austin, Brady, and Brendan all played hockey together from grade school to high school.
