Getting to Isla Holbox is a little bit of work, but it's worth it, I promise!
John and Lauren will arrive in Holbox on Wednesday, December 30th, and will stay until Monday, January 4th. The wedding and reception will take place on January 2nd, 2027, so everyone is free to come and go whenever dates work for them.
Below is information on the hotel where John and Lauren are staying, but please stay at whichever hotel suits your style.
Once you fly into Cancun, you will need to take transportation for 2.5 hours to the town of Chiquila. I recommend getting a direct shuttle from the airport. Once in Chiquila, you will take a 30-minute ferry to Holbox. I recommend getting to Holbox as early as possible so that you don't have to navigate the island in the dark. There are golf cart taxis available to take you to your hotel once you get off the ferry.

You can book this shuttle directly from their website or you can also book with Get Your Guide. If you are looking for a more budget-friendly option, you can take the ADO bus, but it only leaves from downtown Cancun so you will have to get a taxi from the airport to the bus station.
