Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Isla Holbox is a very walkable island; however, not knowing where everyone is staying, I would recommend speaking with your lodging to see how far away you are. If you wish to use transportation, golf carts or side-by-sides are available as taxis.

Do they accept US Dollars in Holbox?

Answer

Here, cash is king. You can use credit cards for hotels, tours, or high-end restaurants, but I would make sure to have plenty of cash for everyday spending. There are a few ATM's and a bank on the island, but this time of year will be busy, and there is always a possibility for power outages. A lot of places will accept US dollars, but the exchange rate offered will not be in your favor.
