How did you know we were dreaming of those crystal champagne flutes?! They’re by far the most beautiful glasses in our home and we’ve never felt fancier. You’ll have to come over soon so we can toast to you! So excited to see you in June.

Michael and I were set up on a blind date by our dear friends, Adam and Stacey. Adam and Michael were in the same frat at the University of Illinois and Stacey and I became close friends at the University of Michigan (go blue!). I walked into the restaurant where Michael, Adam and Stacey were sitting in a booth and I found Michael cute and easy to talk to. I thought the fact he was from LA made him unique and we immediately bonded over liking the White Sox over the Cubs and our interest in traveling. Our second date was on St. Patrick’s day weekend. I almost didn’t make it to the city because the trains were so crowded with teenagers! Somehow I got to our date and we had a great time walking along the green dyed river. After the date we said we liked each other. A month later Michael and I went to our friend’s wedding and he asked me if I would introduce him as my “boyfriend”?  After 6.5 years together and countless memories we got engaged on Oct 18, 2024 on a fall walk by our condo.
