In October David and Kara both commented on a post from a mutual friend about going on a road trip and four mutual friends were going to embark on a road trip of the year. The plans started to fizzle out and David and Kara started chatting online. After about a month of messaging online they decided to meet up to see if they would make a good team for a road trip. They met at the Ram restaurant for a quick lunch and that soon turned into a five-hour date. It was very apparent to both that thru the online messaging that they had begun the starts of what would be a great friendship. The first time they met up they just talked and laughed and enjoyed each other’s company and there was still hope for a road trip to follow soon. A second "date" was planned for the following weekend before they said their goodbye's but once they both got home and said to each other how much fun they had the second "date" was changed to the next evening. In the beginning of the relationship it was clear from both David and Kara that marriage may be out of the question due to experiences with dating and previous relationships, but then after some time together those thoughts began to dwindle and the thought and talks of marriage began to come up and they began ring shopping. If you ask them what is different from other relationships you hear things like; Loyalty, Commitment, Communication, they both feel they have an understanding of each other and can work through anything together. These things combined the feelings they have for each other have created quite a love story! They feel like they both have something that they have never had as well as couldn’t find again with out the other. Through their dating and engagement there have been several moments where things magically fell into place and worked out as they should, such as finding the ring, and deciding to marry in Leavenworth. David and Kara have a love they dreamed of and look forward to sharing their day with you!
