Question

When is my RSVP due?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is September 8th, 2025. Don't be like the children Emma deals with every year and leave it to the last minute, when you know please just RSVP then!

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We are asking our guests to wear formal/cocktail attire. Please follow the link below for definition of formal and cocktail attire, although we would like to note that we do not require suits to be dark or dresses to the floor: https://www.brides.com/story/wedding-dress-code-explained#toc-formal-or-black-tie-optional No jeans or t-shirts, and please no flip flops. Please do not wear white, and if at all possible avoid wearing dark green. We will note it is November and the ceremony will be outdoors. We would recommend a nice coat if you have one. Emma will have you bounced if you are under dressed.

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

No, please do not bring children to the event. No one under the age of 18 is invited. We want our guests to be able to fully relax and enjoy themselves, and there will not be any supervision on the dock, jetty, or boat itself to prevent children entering the water.

Question

Can I bring someone not listed on the invitation/a plus one?

Answer

No! Due to budget and venue constraints, we cannot accommodate anyone not named on the invitation.

Question

Will the ceremony be outdoors?

Answer

Yes! Our ceremony will be outdoors in November. While we do not expect it to be below 40, we do recommend a nice coat or jacket in case it is a little chilly.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is exceptionally limited parking out our venue, we anticipate fewer than 5 spaces available for guest parking in our venue's lot. There is street parking in the area, but we strongly encourage you to make use of public transit, rideshare (Lyft/Uber), or taxi.

Question

Can I get high at the wedding?

Answer

While weed is legal in the state of Washington, please note that our venue does not allow the distribution of weed or its consumption on the boat. Also it is a boat, there are no open flames allowed. That being said, you are free to do whatever you want before coming to the wedding or in the parking lot at the end of the jetty.

Question

Is there anything else the venue doesn’t allow?

Answer

Guns (we promise you’ll be safe without them) Outside food/drink (there will be plenty available, no need to bring your own) Smoking (including vaping)

Question

Is the venue ADA accessible?

Answer

Yes! Our venue can accommodate wheelchairs and mobility aids. Please let us know if you will be using a mobility aid as it may impact where we place you at dinner.

Question

How do I select a dinner choice?

Answer

We will be having a family style dinner, so we only need to know if you are a vegetarian/vegan, keep Halal or Kosher, or have any other allergies or restrictions. Beyond that we do not need anything from you!

Question

Can I arrive after the start time?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 pm. If you arrive after this, we will ask you to wait on the dock until the completion of the ceremony. If you tend to run late, we ask that you plan to arrive early. The venue will open at 4 pm.

Question

Who do I address the card to/is Emma changing her last name?

Answer

Daszkiewicz is far too fun a name to give up! Emma will be staying Daszkiewicz. Please make cards out to Emma Daszkiewicz and Gabe Brown

Question

Will Gornie be at the wedding?

Answer

Nope, she is a cat and does not enjoy travel.
