CHAPTER ONE — THE FRONT DESK It all started at the front desk of Gold's Gym in downtown Austin. Brooklyn was working check-in, and one look in, Sal was certain she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. He checked in, walked away, and spent the next several minutes trying to come up with something charming to say on the way out. Something clever. Something memorable. What came out instead was: "Hey… you validated my parking right?" To which Brooklyn, cheerfully and without missing a beat, replied: "I got ya!" CHAPTER TWO — THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY (BRIEFLY) Sal walked out kicking himself and made a promise: next time he was back at the gym, he was asking her out. Except there was no next time. Brooklyn was transferred to another location shortly after, and just like that, she was gone. CHAPTER THREE — THE DM HEARD ROUND THE WORLD Months passed. Then, one scroll through Instagram, there she was. As the kids say, Sal slid into her DMs. They've been inseparable ever since. They bonded fast over fitness, music, a shared sense of humor, and eventually (and most importantly) their faith in Him. CHAPTER FOUR — APRIL 3, 2027 And now, flash forward to today.
