Buckhorn Exchange
One of our favorite steakhouses ever. This is the oldest restaurant in Colorado and was started by the scout guide of Teddy Roosevelt and Buffalo Bill. Excellent food and really cool history, we always take people here who have never been to Colorado and describe it as if Colorado was a restaurant.
Happy Camper Pizza
Cool, camping/disco themed pizza place with cocktails & brunch, plus an expansive AstroTurf-lined patio.
Blue Moon Brewing Company RiNo
Modern American food & beer served in a cavernous brewery with flashy decor & a large patio.
Conifer Cafe
One of our favorite places to grab breakfast on the weekends
Snitching Lady Distillery
This is right in Fairplay about 15 min away from the venue. Great distillery with live music!
Salado
Right on Front Street of Fairplay - Southwestern style restaurant with outdoor patio seating.
Millonzi's Restaurant
Italian Restaurant - great option!
Otto's Fairplay
Great recommendation for breakfast/lunch. **Not a sit down restaurant but great to grab a quick bite before hiking!
Weston Pass
This is a great off roading trail that will take you from Fairplay to another cute town to check out Leadville. This is only an option if you have a 4WD capable car.
Breckenridge
We recommend spending time in Breckenridge and checking out the Main Street shops, bars, and restaurants. There are a lot of great hiking trails!
Frisco Bay Marina
This is a great spot to go kayaking & paddle board! You will need to book rentals in advance (link provided above).
