It all started freshman year 2015 at Penn State. Brooke was a sorority sister in AXO and Pat was a lowly pledge at TKE. Brooke was tasked with finding a ride home for her and her sisters, and was told to get "Frackenberg". Walking to the bottom of the steps, she found a pledge mopping the floors. "Do you know who Frackenberg is? He's supposed to give us a ride home." "Uh, that's me". Her face turned beet red. She had thought he was very cute but did not want to come off as desperate, and now she may have blown her only chance at making a good first impression on the handsome young stud. (Pat wrote this part) Nevertheless, Pat gave them a ride home, impressing the entire time and causing the car to laugh. Fast forward two months. Brooke needed a date for her end of the year formal. As her friends listed off seemingly worse and worse options, she stopped to ponder what "Frackenberg" had been up to. Hoping she had not waited too long, she ended up asking him to her formal. They both had the best time with endless laughs and Pat's scary dance moves. Brooke also left a memorable impression considering she fell over three times and wasn't even (that) drunk. Pat asked Brooke to his formal just a couple weeks before summer break. They stayed friends for the next couple semesters attending each others' formal events. They both weren't ready to "settle down" yet, but come spring sophomore year they had found each other once again. Realizing it was now impossible to get each other out of their heads, they gave in. Over 7 years later, with 2 dogs & an adorable baby boy - these two are getting hitched!
