Per our formal invitations, we request that you RSVP prior to October 15th. Be sure to fill out your best marriage advice as well!
If your invitation lists a specific person or simply says "guest," then yes... this means that we have specially reserved two seats just for you! We are so excited to share this day with our nearest and dearest, so if your invitation does not include a name other than yours, please refrain from bringing a guest.
As much as we LOVE your kids, we are really hoping for all of our guests to be present and in the moment along with us. Allow our wedding to serve as a date night for you and your sweetheart, and let the kids be loaded up with candy by their grandparents (we promise they will love you for it)!
We ask that you please arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the event start time noted on the invitation; this time is the moment the ceremony music will begin. This buffer time will allow you to sign our guest book, and get your tissues ready for the ugly cries that are bound to happen.
We request that you dress in black-tie optional attire for our event. For the ladies, this could mean a nice cocktail dress or floor length gown. For the gentlemen, a tuxedo or dark suit is appropriate. We ask that you please refrain from wearing khakis or blue jeans... it's date night friends!
We are registered at Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Zola (this website!). Not sure what to pick? On this site, you are able to see ALL the items on our registry from those businesses; as well as, the ability to donate toward a fun date night or cool experience for us!
We ask that you please refrain from taking photos during any part of the ceremony. We want you to be completely present with us and our families during such sacred moments. Please don't worry about getting those photos for us; we have hired a wonderful professional photographer, and having cell phones in the air will alter his ability to capture those precious moments. Feel free to take as many photos as you would like during the reception though, so long as you are out of the photographer's way :)
