What is the Dress Code?

Answer

Attire: Formal (With a touch of practicality) We're going formal for the evening! For women think longer dresses and elevated midi styles. For men, a suit and tie is perfect. Since we'll be celebrating part of the day outdoors, we suggest skipping stilettos and opting for block heels, wedges or dressy flats that can handle a short walk to our riverside ceremony.

Is Transportation Offered to and from the Ceremony/Reception?

Answer

Yes! We will have shuttles the day of the wedding transporting guests from Callicoon Hills Hotel to the venue at Lavalley Estates. There will be parking onsite but we encourage guests to utilize the shuttle service if you are partaking in festivities as this is a remote area and Uber is not available.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only evening. We hope you enjoy a night off to celebrate with us!

What Will the Weather Be Like?

Answer

For all of our fellow East Coasters the weather always varies. We will send out notes leading up to the wedding how the surrounding forecast is trending. With our reception being both indoors and outdoors, we suggest having a jacket in case of a chilly evening! The barn will be heated.
